The word " narcissist" gets thrown around a lot these days. Don't like someone? Call them a narcissist.
But of course there are the hardcore narcissists. Probably diagnosed with NPD. Including wife bashers. Serious control freaks. Of course there are women narcissists too. They must have control. It's all about control.
Look at Ted Bundy. Serial killer. Pathological liar. Has to control the narrative right up to the end of his life. Watch his last interview.
Now we can all show narcissistic traits. But not be full blown narcissists.
I can be a real ego maniac sometimes. But I try to maintain some humour about it. Life can be absurd. I can be absurd. Best not to take yourself too seriously. Take life seriously but not yourself . It's a fine distinction sometimes.
We are all flawed. The hardcore narcissist thinks he's perfect. That's his delusion.
