Oh no, it's not today.

I just meant that soon, I will have been here for 10 years officially.
I guess it's good that I've stuck around for the community, through thick and thin, good and bad.
And I like to think I've learned a lot about life, attraction, and myself since I got here. I like to think I've changed a lot.
But it's still kind of a bummer that I'm still lonely after 10 years.

Yeah I get it.
I've been lonely for my whole life...58 years next month...not so great...

These aren’t very accurate though seeing how people have been casting votes since 2009. It’s not a snapshot of any one time if you get me.

Possibly it isn't intended to be.

It could be more of a snapshot of what age people generally are as they pass through this way.

Yes that is what I said. It may represent the age they passed through here and consider their age long after they are gone, to be irrelevant, for the polls purpose.

Ho-ho! Do you want it straight? I'm 77 and a former overland world traveler. I've been everywhere (hitch-hiking, buses, and a few trains) around the globe except for South America and I only display my mellow side when no one is watching.

I'm 56. I'm in the minority here ... dang now I feel even lonelier

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Keep in mind that this thread was created in 2009 and it's been being used every since. I've been here over 10 years, so I'm certainly no longer in the category I clicked when I first joined.

No wonder a lot of the responses and ideas are sophomoric

When I first joined, I belonged in the 28-33 group. I'm almost a year away from joining the 40-45 group. Now if you excuse me, I need to yell at some kids to get off my lawn.

Same. I've moved up two brackets since getting here (22-27, was 27 for my first half-year), then went through 28-33, and now I'm in 34-39.

Here's to hoping I get out of loneliness, before I move through yet another age bracket
