I just wanted to say, I hope all of our past and present ALL Florida people (along with as many people in general as possible, of course) survived these hurricanes this year.
Since they've been pretty bad, and in the area of a few of our former members, I've been especially worried this time. It looked especially terrible on the news.
I hope that even if they are no longer on the forum, that they were able to make it through.

It is terrible.
My "regular" had her entire town flooded out twice.
Most of her and her family's stuff (and everyone else's) is completely ruined.
Many still without power.
Very long lines at the gas stations (the ones that still have gas) for those lucky enough to have generators.
I helped her out some, but still, there is really no big help coming from DC yet. Hopefully it does come. Hopefully.
And...no Hollywood telethons, like they had for Katrina.
And as bad as that is, what is happening in western North Carolina is far, far worse.

Yeah I saw it on the news, that must have been horrible to get two back to back hurricanes like that.
I messaged someone down there just wishing them well getting through it, but I haven't heard back yet.
I hope it's just that their power is out, or that they have too much to do to get to it right now, and not that something is wrong.
