Hey it's Melbourne cup fever here in Victoria Australia.
That's a big horse race we have tomorrow Tuesday. Usually school stops and everyone watches the race.
I'm not so keen as I was when a kid. Now I quit gambling, it's not as thrilling. Still I like to think I can pick the winner.
Lasotchka is my choice this year. Let's see if it wins.

But Ive lost one of my tickets! So annoying.

Melbourne Cup fever is real—everything pretty much stops here for the race. I used to get pretty into it too, but I’ve slowed down with the betting over the years.

“Here” as in the USA where it says you’re from? I’m not far from Melbourne and not everything stops lol. I’m part of the population that isn’t into horse racing.

Definitely not popular where I am. I've never heard of it. I saw "cup" and thought it was soccer. lol

These days, if I’m looking for a bit of gambling fun, I usually stick to online gambling slots. It’s a nice way to get that thrill without the big race-day hype.
