Just curious about what things bring joy into peoples lives
F*uk me! So now you can't say b00bs! Does the word "tea" need censoring, in case it offends someone who's partial to a cup of coffee?. can I call something "cheeky" anymore? Is it too close to "impolite" for some. And heaven forbid I use the word "naughty" now I'm practically a criminal! I mean, soon we'll have to submit our conversations for approval like they're a new Netflix series, just to make sure no one's delicate sensibilities are upset. Even "bloody" might get the boot it's not a swear, it's just a bit of British charm, isn’t it? At this rate, we'll all be left saying "Oh, dear," and that’s about as risky as a cup of room temperature water. Alonelylife as ridiculous as ever, you never fail to disappoint. F*king ars*clowns!
I can post anything I want on the chinese forum I use but here I'm suddenly censored like I'm revealing state secrets. So ... who's really being oppressed here?Put another way -
We can't discuss George W Bush's career pivot, and highest passion in life.
But we can discuss where he is going, as a result of overindulging in it!

It kind of makes you wonder a little -
not so much this site specifically, but in the culture.
There's more and more emphasis on not saying bad words, and on not offending people's sensibilities.
But I wonder if it isn't a kind of soft distraction/redirection tactic away from expressing anger, or talking about actual bad things.
It's like "they" don't want you expressing negative feelings, saying anything is wrong with anything.
Or like in the news, how they keep saying "the economy is fine" when anyone who is a real person, plainly can tell it is very much not fine.
It's like, repeat the message "everything is fine".
Forbid expressions of anger or discontent.
Shift the focus to sensibilities and "bad words", and away from systemic issues "nothing to see here".
That's kind of what the so-called "left" does here in America, and why they lost me as a fan, because I saw through what they were doing.
I don't know, just rambling!
It's not gonna get any easier mate. In China, some view Donald Trump as a "nation builder" (建设者, Jiànshè zhě) due to his policies that inadvertently benefited China. His trade war with China, aimed at reducing the U.S. deficit, made Chinese goods more competitive by increasing tariffs on U.S. products. Trump's "America First" approach also led to a global leadership vacuum, which China filled, strengthening its position. Additionally, his deregulation policies and focus on domestic issues allowed Chinese companies to thrive, while some U.S. businesses increased investment in China. In these ways, Trump's actions inadvertently boosted China’s economy and global influence.NM - sorry I got carried away.
