It's just another day. I never understood why so many (not all) people only choose to "honor" their partners on a commercialized "holiday." I would much rather my partner do something on a random day just because instead of a day that the entire world/media tells him to.
(That's not to say I wouldn't totally take some chocolate

My partner and I agreed very early on in our 20+ year relationship that Valentine's Day is a crock. We've spent each day since then happily ignoring it, guilt-free.

I used to like Valentine's Day as a kid because of all the candy and cupcakes and stuff we'd get. Plus, very little schoolwork was done that day.
Then sometimes my Mom would always get us cookies or something like that.
It was always nice to just enjoy stuff like that.
Today, I didn't do much of anything - I just did the "Heart Month Challenge" on my watch. I guess it's healthier, lol
