I might remember that it's Monday, and I might remember my shift ends an hour earlier due to time change on the deliveries. I will probably get to Thursday before it really clicks in.

I don't think it's really about giving someone else power to change you. It's more trusting yourself to choose what's right, and if what's right is choosing love, you are going to change in some way.

I came here for the @TropicalStarfish outlook. Now I feel obligated to answer for myself. Absolutely, love is a feeling. The OP sounds like choosing a fear of change/not enough change/being changed. I've found it's impossible to be in any form of love without the changes to self. Probably not...
