I want to know how to turn this “creepy” attraction to women in their 20s off as it’s making making me miserable. Everywhere I go there are young women and younger people in their social circles. It’s a constant reminder of the life I missed out on. Whatever I do, I can't seem to move on.

OP, don't take this the wrong way but you're experiences are typical of men with average or below looks. After working out for a number of years and upping my style, I couldn't help noticing the blank stares or averted eyes from female service staff changed to neutral or friendly body...

They'd be very few people from school I'd want to reconnect with (or even be in the same room with), but it's nice for those who have fond memories.

I'm a 45 year old who has never been in a relationship. A couple of "dates" at the most. 50-70 years ago, a shy, awkward, 'broken' man could still get married because people were expected to settle early and women had to be economically dependent on men. That's no longer the case and so society...
