Any Hikikomoris out there that wanna help me?

My name is Adrian and i Am a swiss student and for my graduation assignment I wanted to write about Hikikomori, as i have a certain background in that way as well...
Are there any People who would answer some questions about being a Hikikomori?
It is fine if you dont want to, as it is quite a personal topic to talk about. But it would be great if someone was willing to answer some questions to me^^

I think you'll have better success with the words "Social Recluse", not everyone is familiar with Japanese terminology.

Anyway, I spend about 95% of my time indoors, though I have plenty of social contact on the internet, so I don't think I qualify, the thing about Hikikomori is that they have no social contact whatsoever, it'll be hard to find one and ask him or her questions about it.
I'll answer any questions if you have them, but all I can talk about is a lack of social contact out in the real world

yes thanks for the explanation of the term^^ didnt think of that (yeah sure i know NHK thats where i got the idea from )
I aint even so sure about the non-social contacts, i think as hikikomori also qualify people who only, or almost only, have online contacts and hardly leave their room for a period of six months or longer

You are familiar with "Welcome to the NHK" but what about "Castaway on the Moon"? That movie was very powerful to me. I found a version on youtube. I'm not sure how long it'll be there. I saw it on netflix a couple of years ago.
