I still suffer from SAD social anxiety disorder. Many times I find myself avoiding situations that I know will be a mob scene. Hate Walmart Christmas. But when I find myself among the masses, church, food court, coffee shop, I still feel very alone. The people or social skills just are not there yet. Trying though. When I attended my mothers funeral at the showing, I would gravitate to the flowers, any snacks laid out, lone couch, get some air. Always an action that would eliminate or reduce the chance that I would have to interact and my skills or lack of....exposed for all to see. How lonely we can feel being among a crowd and then always wanting to be somewhere else.

Go to a nice restaraunt alone and they ask......party of one? Hmmm,, since when is One.....a party?

I am a pretty lonely guy. It's not such a tradgedy because i'ts more of a peaceful lonliness.

We all wish we had all these things, but the more people and places we involve our lives with the more problems we all seem to have.

We all seem to share a common problem. We all think too much. Some of us don't think at all.

Sure, all of us want to become famous, rich and all of the above. But, just ask yourself if that is really who you are.

Are you someone who depends on the comfort of many others to feel complete, or can you make it on your own?

All I want is to be able to love someone who loves me. But guys don't seem to be interested in that or in me. Or in being truely loyal to me.

I don't have many social skills. I find it very difficult to get on with new people, very difficult. I'd give anything, even my intelligence, to be beuatiful and have someone who loved me.

It's strange you say this because EVERYONE is beautiful to someone else. You may not believe it but I know that this is true. I'm not sure about there being someone for everyone and all that soppy crap, I reckon the majority just "settle" for what they have to avoid being "alone". But one thing I DO KNOW, is that you are beautiful as someone will ALWAYS find you beautiful, you probably just haven't noticed -> GUARANTEED!!!

This is hard to believe to me, mate... If I look back to my life I can't agree with you. But one thing I've learnt and i can say i'm pretty sure it's guaranteed: to be beautiful is not enough to be loved.

beauty is the soul and spirit.....physical looks fade but a beautiful heart lives forever..........thats what matters don't you think so?

Sure, i think it matters, i meant right that in my previous post. Unfortunately this opinion is not universally accepted :(

I saw George Harrison on an interview once and he said:
"Everybody wants to be rich and famous
and when you get rich and famous you think
"this isn't it"
