I feel disgusted at those medical professionals for the terrible way both you and Pike were treated. I am not sure whst a person does if HIPPA gets violated.

Yes, it is disgusting. Where I live, you can't do much except write a letter to an association, which I did, but never got a response. We don't live in a "law suit" type of culture here, mind you, the idea of suing a therapist wouldn't appeal to me because all of my own secrets would be revealed publicly and that idea is worse than her breaking my confidence.
And you know, when I confronted the therapist, her arrogant reply was "I couldn't keep that to myself, I felt they should know". At first I gave her a break, and thought that maybe she was working with the workman's comp trying to rat out those types of people who fake injuries to collect benefits...I'm always the doormat lol...but the reality is, I had a non-questionable injury that couldn't be doubted by any committee or medical professional, so she was just being a horrible therapist with no moral code.
I'm quite sure that not all therapists are so loose-lipped though...but my overall experience was negative.
