Inhabiting leather skin, the demons
and their sins, come forth.
Let the trial begin, demons
numbering four. Beneath cloaked
shadow, madly grins, not much
longer now.

The accused, numbering many
are your crimes. You're behind
the tear-drops, fires, and lies.
What defense can there be, you
afflicted me, and now the flame
shall torture you.

The court, a massive chamber it
echoes. Whispers, crowds gather
outside and prepare the gallows.
Still, unmoving the spirits remain
when threatened eternal flame.

Nothing to say, the case rests.
Guilty! Confess. Speak your crime
and the punishment will be less.
In between time, slowly rising,
darkness bodily confined, the
spirits stand.

Death whispers pour through
rotten teeth. The judge won't
allow them pigskins now, he stands
and speaks quite clear. "Torment
no longer and feel your own fear."

Leathery lips slightly curl
into upturned half smiles.
Where nothing but shadow was
before, a rotten face begins
to glow. Eyelids closed, but
something moves, yellow iris
breaks.

From beneath the eye's thin film,
bursting through are spiders all
on fire. Thousands of tiny villains
spew, before the spell is through.
Emptied now, the demons fall flat.

Shouting loudly, the little boy
tells how evil was destroyed with
a spell. The people rejoice, another
threat is quelled, everyone uses
their instrument of voice.
