Doing something next week !

Playing golf with my female friend on Tuesday.

We haven't been for 4 months now. First of all we arranged something and then it rained. After that she cancelled for the next 2 times due to been tired. A month or so after when I asked her she was ill.

I gave up asking but she kept mentioning playing in her texts. And last time I saw her on Sunday, she kept saying 'we'll have to play soon'

So she phones me up today at work. She first asks me to work in her shop. I said 'yes' because I'm not doing anything tommorrow. She then starts talking - saying she's off on Tuesday and what am I doing ? The phone line was terrible so it was hard to hear what she was saying. I could hardly hear her. She went on talking about Wednesday and then almost in frustration she said ' I'm trying to arrange a golf game with you' - I finally understood so I said, 'what about tuesday morning 10.30 ?' - She said 'great' and went on to say how she hasn't played for ages and wants to improve and it will fit in with her day because after she is going to see her friends who live in the area. She finished saying 'we'll discuss it more tommorrow'

So I'm looking forward to it. Bloody phone line didn't help. Half an hour later this customer said it's going to rain on Tuesday, so I thought 'great !'

I hope it doesn't rain for your sake. Maybe a backup plan if it does? Going to the local sporting goods store, and checking out the newest golfing merch followed by a nice lunch somewhere? I dunno...thoughts for dry weather on Tues!

I've been let down in the past so much.

On the both times she was 'tired', it was only an hour before we were due to play when she sent me a text. That really annoyed me but of course I never said anything to her. Since then, when she has put 'we'll have to play golf soon' in her texts, I've sort of thought 'yeah whatever'

Last Sunday when I saw her for the first time in 2 months I wasn't planning on even mentioning golf. She mentioned it though a few times and after the third time, I thought I would be more direct - so I said 'I'm off in a few weeks so we can play then. I'll send you a text' - when I said goodbye she said 'remember to send me that text'

So I was planning on asking her next week but she asked today.

Like all the times I've played golf with her, the days before I tend to get nervous. Not about the actual meeting (golf) but thinking something is bound to go wrong and it doesn't happen. I suppose if it does rain I'll have to suggest another day.

Well the last 2 days were supposed to be my days off but I worked in her shop and helped her out. We are playing tommorrow at 10.30. The weather forecast at the moment says it's not going to rain. She has been talking about it; saying she is looking forward to it etc.

Surely she won't back out with an excuse ? She used me to help her out for a couple of days with the prospect of us playing golf as a sort of sweetner. Now, I've worked in her shop, she backs out of the golf with an excuse , my purpose done. God if that happens I will be mega pissed off !

Played for 30 minutes then it started to pour down. We both got soaked !
Went and had a coffee and a chat. Then visited a dogs home. (Her idea)

Enjoyed it despite the rain !

I just really enjoyed it. I do like her, maybe love her a little. It was cool, really nice. It doesn't happen to me often and when it does I always enjoy it. I like one to one rather than groups. It's important to me to think she choose me to spend time with. Women like her come along very rarely. I do get nervous beforehand but when we get there, I don't have any problems chatting and talking to her. I do actually think I have a very easy going manner and I'm extremely likeable. She must enjoy my company because it's the third time we have played golf. Yet nobody else seems to want to spend any time with me.

Overall a good day ! Enjoyed it !

Well after the events of today (see new thread I've done !) it shows how special this woman is. Like I say, not many women / people want to spend time with me. I also asked this guy if he wanted a golf game and he said he was on holiday next week.
