walking down the street, my eyes on the sun.
my setting feet like rags in the wind, shuffle shamefully.

sense catherine first set my skin
i've been slipping past the hangman's gin
living by my gun and chagrin;
a six in one chance at remisson of sin.

i keep to myself and follow in line
but i am the "not" thats never confined.
i am the one that is new to malign,
but carry the shame sense my father's time.

The implications of the setting sun
raise the chimneys for the trees i cant flee.

I love the line "i've been slipping past the hangman's gin". I enjoyed that, thankyou for sharing.

it is a story. an album actually. about an assasin in the wild west days. like doc holiday. killed for contracts. just loved killing. but truthfully he doesn't want to kill, he just does it for the family. because his dad did it. keeping the family busy.
