Favorite Mixed Beverage

Just came in and mixed a tequila paralyzer;

A decent sized mug.
Lots of ice
Two parts tequila (Hornitos is the best)
One part Kahlua
Milk (I prefer 1%) and Coke poured in together to mix
Stir and enjoy

mint with curacao and tequila. on a huge chunk of ice. it gets you a strong "DAMN COLD" effect. wrong season to try it though. be sure you use Tequila, as Gin will make it taste like medicine.

The closest I get to a mixed drink is a blueberry, grape, mango fruit juice drink I get at the grocery store.

for non-alcoholic stuff, I guess diet 7up with juice would be my kind of things. I do that all the time.

Thank you. Now here's the recipe for two versions.

Strawberry Daiquiri: Classic Style

Cube 1 whole lime and place in cocktail shaker
add 2 barspoons of sugar
add 4 strawberries
Muddle (ie squash aggressively with the end of a rolling pin) ingredients in the bottom of the shaker
Add 50mls Havana Club Especial (Bacardi Blanco is ****)
Add 12.5mls Creme de Fraise (Strawberry Liqueur)
Add cubed ice to shaker and shake
Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a martini glass & garnish with a strawberry

Strawberry Daiquiri - Frozen

Use the same ingredients as above and put all in a blender
Use the juice of the lime not the whole lime
Add some cubed ice (don't use chipped or crushed it won't work)
blend to a thick slushy consistency (add more ice if necessary to achieve this)
Pour carefully into a martini glass & garnish

A little tip is turn the martini glass as you pour the drink to give a Mr Whippy style cone.

Frozen version is excellent. Deep, lingering taste but remember to use cubed ice.
