Favorite Trees

Perhaps I'm a weirdo, but, I love trees! I dunno why but over the past few years I've become fascinated with and been paying more attention to trees as I drive, through the seasons. It's amazing how many different types are found all over the world. Some are huge, some itsy bitsy, some look like totally different types when compared as young and old (especially 200 yrs+).

My favorite has always been tall Loblolly Pines - the kind that you find all over the place like here in MD on the Eastern Shore. I love how for 40, 50, 60ft+ it's just trunk and barely any branches. I find something really beautiful about it.
Close up are willows and crape myrtles- I know these are all common but still really beautiful.

So, what are your favorite trees, evergreens or deciduous, are they exotic or common, do any have special meaning to you?

Cherry blossom tree. My mom and I loved to see them bloom in the spring.

I've thought about getting a tattoo of one up my torso, in memory of my mom.

Actually living so close to the countryside like I do is one thing I have always appreciated. It is always annoying to see so much rubbish dump there though.
But then maybe if the council did not charge ppl so much for taking the rubbish it would not be there?

Don't mind me why I have this debate with myself here that I just started XD

When it comes to forests I am very lucky.

I would take you on a walk. Not a long one as I can not walk to far.
That's why I like to bike. But when you bike you have to keep to the paths.
But I do like to walk a little.

Normally if I do walk in the woods I take me mums dog as well and he is crazy lmao. One time when I took him he tried to run after this reindeer. He scared me cos for one second I thought he would not come back when I shouted. But thankfully he did I don't think the reindeer would had played very nicely with him lol
Every day is an advantage for that wappy dog

my favorite is the southern live oak, like this one:

there's just something magical about this tree that makes me stare in astonishment. we had one of these in the neighborhood where i grew up in florida and my friends and i loved climbing it.

plus, i used to play a lot of "zeldacarina of time" and this tree kind of reminds me of the great deku tree, seen here, even though it doesn't resemle it too much:

Two reasons: one am lazy lol and 2 the last one me and a mate built fall down lol
So now am gonna pay someone to build it proper with heating in and everything hahah
I might like living in the woods but not with out me home comforts like Internet and heating and a hot shower
