Before anyone shouts at my reading skills, I like it! I don't claim to be intelligent, so I enjoy a lot of mainstream things! Anyway those books got a single gal through some cold winter nights ;).

Anyway for anyone else out there who enjoyed the series, I am not sure if it is a hoax, but announced on Facebook is Dakota Johnson to play Ana. I had to google her but turns out she is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson!

Looking forward to who is going to play Christian!

Anyone else looking forward to the film?

I'm not judging you. I'm a guy who likes Twilight, lol.

Anyway, it's not my type of book, but from what I understand, they would have to do some heavy editing before they could show it in theatres. It's basically a smut book.

Jensen Ackles would be my Christian Grey.

what's it about ?

Bondage and sex, mostly.

I haven't read it, though. I got interested in Twilight, because there is a story about vampires and werewolves and the supernatural, which made me interested (the love triangle between the three didn't interest me.)

I have no interest in reading sex books aimed at women. I have no issue with it being out there, but it's not something I would enjoy.

Thing I don't get as I see endless copies being read on buses is, were ladies not aware erotic fiction existed before this book came out? It's like the word porn mothership has landed, whatever floats your boat I guess!

Now of course there are stacks of quickly reissued erotic books for sale, all with the innevitable grey covers, cashing in.

I think they'd make a killing on a discreet version, maybe disguised as an OK mag or something.

Not sure why, it has just become socially acceptable to read these smutty :D books in public, hey I'm not complaining!

Shipster very nice, never heard of him before :).

If they are doing a full trilogy they may want to re-write the 3rd one, it seemed like a bit a rushed mess.

I've actually heard that it was going into works, I know a lot of people who are into reading it however. I won't judge though. I'm a fan of Erotica books. I rather read short stories on bondage. =) If your interested you should definitely check them out!

Yes point me in that direction :D...

Apparently the 50 Shades trend has started a baby boom ;)

Well a good place to look would be the internet, basically just turn safe search off, type erotica in google and maybe something you're into and there you go, more perverse stories than you can shake a stick at written by people like you and me absolutely free. A personal favorite would be Literotica but there's tons of other sites too. Personally I prefer the short stories but if you like the long ones there's a lot of those too.

Thanks for that, I do have a few books to read at the moment that keep me erm well let's say entertained ;).

I never read the book, but here's what I have observed. My kinky friends think this story is kind of boring or silly. My vanilla friends love it.

If you enjoy erotica, may I suggest Laurell K Hamilton? She has a storyline about a chick who hunts vampires and one about a fairy. There are a few mildly kinky scenes, if that's your thing. I started reading them forever ago and they're nice sometimes- though I'd prefer more story and less sex. Anne Rice has the Sleeping Beauty trilogy, which has kinky sex (and was written under a pseudonym).

There are a lot of kinkier things out there, for free on the internet. You don't even have to pay money for it, just search.
