So today I fell out of bed and got my ass to a local festival. It's 4am and I'm finally home in my comfort zone. I'll post a few pictures I got today and will maybe do a small write up of the event, with more pictures, on Sunday - I'm going back tomorrow and also on Sunday (if I don't flake out by then). Enjoy.

Awesome pics! Really really nice. Thanks for sharing!

What kind of equipment are you using, if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks :)

Canon 700D
Canon 18-135
Canon 60mm Macro
Canon 50mm MKII

I have a flashgun too but didn't use it tonight. Will probably take tomorrow. All those were taken with the 18-135 because changing lenses is a pain in the ass.

From the title I assumed there was a huge fire that burns everybody...

Lovely pictures, that cat looks kinda of pissed you took a picture of it.

Haha no it was a bit weary of me at first but I sat down away from it to show that I wasn't a threat and it started to relax, even had a big stretch:

then it came and sniffed my leg and demanded I pet it. Only fair I suppose!

Here's a few more.

This is my sister's dog:

This guy was crazy, chucking this fire thing around trying to do tricks, badly. The pants came off and he did it totally naked. I have video of it which is really funny but I don't know if youtube allow that kind of thing:

Great pictures, looks like my kinda festival, relaxing, everyone just having a good time, not drunk and stupid and acting like neanderthals (except maybe for the one guy, but I wouldn't say stupid).

Thanks for sharing.

Where is this? (nevermind did a search, looks great, wish I could go there http://www.fireinthemountain.co.uk/ )

It was really nice, no chavs there at all, not bad attitudes all weekend. The food there was good too - all organic stuff and plenty to choose from.

Great pictures, really top-notch. Are you a professional photographer, or just a hobbyist? You really do have a knack for portraits and capturing emotions...all your pictures tell a story. Have you ever sold any pics or had them published?
