Previously...at the end of Rise of Cobra the G.I.Joe team had captured Cobra Commander and Destro. Storm Shadow seemed to meet his demise. Zartan had assassinated the President of the United States taking his place. G.I.Joe had won the battle but the war was just beginning. <- Highlight to read, spoilers of the end of the first movie.

I grew up with G.I.Joe, wasn't overly thrilled with the first movie (Rise of Cobra). But this movie, O-M-F-G!! It looks awesome! Reaction in the fan community has been mostly positive. We're such a bunch of geeks.
Some are going nuts over little things like Snake-Eye's mask not having a mouth on it, and Cobra Commander wearing his proper mask. A lot of the original cast have been dumped. Basically the writers and director are trying to fix what went wrong with the first movie. There are so many little things in this trailer full of win you can't even imagine.
I'm pumped for this movie, not as much as The Dark Knight Rises, but damn so far this trailer is what the first movie should have been.
