I have everything I need for pumpkin or key lime, but a fruit pie is appealing. I haven't had a good sour cherry pie in ages, mostly because it's so hard to find the right cherries. That sweet filling is gag-worthy.

Failing that, I make a killer apple pie with crumb topping.

in michigan we are known for our cherry pies. traverse city, MI, cherry town.

i used to visit there on my way to the great lakes during the summer and we would always get a good cherry pie in town.
