It's going to be long, just a warning. But I'll make it as straight to the point as possible (since I tend to ramble - see I'm already doing it).
This crossed my mind about something I read in a book previously and I wondered how realistic it is.
The author Louise L. Hay says..
She then talks about a whole list of why we have problems in the different parts of the body, from your head to your genitals to your senses. Every part represents something.
There was also a list of how certain illnesses are likely created in the body. I am quoting 3 of them which I often experienced myself or have encountered.
Bet many would have known how masturbation helps in this area.
This really hits home with me. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last November and the underlined above, basically describes my whole entire life - even till now.
Kinda ironic too. Could this mean that as long as I'm doing things for other people and not be able to do what I want to do (which is still in my current situation), that it'll still be around?
When I met the doctor previously, she said that I need to undergo another round of treatment because the cancer remnants are still in my body from the results of the scan. While another patient I made friends with, who has the cancer more advanced, said that she is cleared now - although we went for the same treatment with same dosage of radioactive iodine at the same day, she was even in my same room where that's how I got to know her.
So Louise L. Hay also talked about cancer:
I disagree with this quote except for the bolded. I don't think I have a huge amount of resentment in my life. Although there has been a series of disappointments now and then, but I think that's just life. And I don't drown myself in self-pity, neither do I stick around hopelessness and helplessness much. If I can help myself to feel more positive, I try.
I do think that learning to love and accept the self is key to a better life really - but I'm not sure if it would actually heal cancers.
Maybe it could, who knows. Maybe that's what I need to do to cure mine? I guess with a positive mindset and positive life, it will somewhat contribute to a healthier life as well.

I believe we create every so-called illness in our body. The body, like everything else in life, is a mirror of our inner thoughts and beliefs. The body is always talking to us, if we will only take the time to listen. Every cell within your body responds to every single thought you think and every word you speak.

Headaches come from invalidating the self. The next time you get a headache, stop and ask yourself where and how you have just made yourself wrong. Forgive yourself, let it go, and the headache will dissolve back into the nothingness from where it came.
Migraine headaches are created by people who want to be perfect and who create a lot of pressure on themselves. A lot of suppressed anger is involved. Interestingly, migraine headaches can almost always be alleviated by masturbation if you do it as soon as you feel a migraine coming on. The sexual release dissolves the tension and the pain. You may not feel like masturbating then, but it certainly is worth a try. You can't lose."

The throat represents the creative flow in the body. This is where we express our creativity, and when our creativity is stifled and frustrated, we often have throat problems. We all know many people who live their whole lives for others. They never once get to do what they want to do. They are always pleasing mothers/fathers/spouses/lovers/bosses. Tonsillitis and thyroid problems are just frustrated creativity, resulting from not being able to do what you want to do.

Cancer is a disease caused by deep resentment held for a long time until it literally eats away at the body. Something happens in childhood that destroys the sense of trust. This experience is never forgotten, and the individual lives with a sense of self-pity, finding it hard to develop and maintain long-term, meaningful relationships. Because of that belief system, life seems to be a series of disappointments. A feeling of hopelessness and helplessness and loss permeates the thinking, it becomes easy to blame others for all our problems. People with cancer are also very self-critical. To me, learning to love and accept the self is the key to healing cancers.
