Feeling this is my chance. In first year (in Third year now) I met a girl in my history minor that I really really liked. In fact she was the first girl I got the courage up to ask out, well for lunch, but you could tell by her reaction she knew why I was asking. Anyway, she couldnt go for a legit reason.

Since then I found her on Facebook and found out she had a boyfriend back where she lived. We've been friends ever since, but I only see her every couple of weeks or so now, dont do a minor any more.

Anyway, within the last day she has changed her facebook to 'no longer in a relationship' (not single). I want to ask her out again, never had a girlfriend, only ever had one date. But going to ask her out. But how long should you leave it? Adding to the confusion is Valentines Day, would that be to soon?

Exactly one of the things I'm worried about. She's been with him for at least the two years I've known her, but I'm guessing theyve been together for a year or so before then, to last as long as it did in uni

Hmm.. well my opinion is that you are running behind already. If you are attracted to her chances are there are plenty of other guys who are attracted to her. There is no tike like the present.

Get her before the pretend greeting card holiday. That way you can have more fun on The greeting card holiday. What better time to make her fall for you than a day dedicated to romance and sex?
