I wish I didn't need to post here. Everyone has their problems, and honestly I don't feel like ranting my life story on this forum will really solve anything, but I can certainly list a few details about myself, regardless.

o I am here because I am lonely. Hello.

o I'm the second most introverted person I know, beside my friend. She would prefer if I don't speak about her.

o I want to meet someone equally as lonely, because we're in the same situation... I know that there is a potential for anyone to get rid of this... awful feeling.

The cure to lonesomeness is to place yourself in a social situation... I would have been here sooner if I had known this place existed. Or maybe not, I'm also incredibly shy, and my self-esteem is very low.

I... don't bite, though. ^^?

I encourage anyone who feels lonely and is reading this right now to make an account and post. If you're shy, I want you to say hello.

You mentioned that you are introverted - what topics interest you which you ponder/consider/think about a lot? Even at my most introverted, for example, I had topics which interested me(extraordinarily geeky ones, to be certain!). And it is part of being introverted to overthink and overanalyze.

Perhaps you could find common interest with others who also share those interests and talk to them, so you will at least make some connections?

That's a big question... so much I could say. Um well, I have a lot of time to myself. So I'm constantly debating with my mind over anything and everything. I like reading, love video gaming... I guess that's a typical response. Most people like video gaming. I do have a friend who I talk to, but for some reason it doesn't really feel like I'm getting real 'social gratification' out of the relationship. More work than play...

Sorry, I have severe social anxiety. I have to make my posts as plain and simple as possible, because I regret everything I say a couple hours later. So I try to avoid saying anything I'll hate myself for later.

Don't regret what you say, especially online. Its not like we can judge you for them, and don't stop yourself from saying whatever your mind. If you have any doubts, just google for blogs and boggle at the mind-bending stupidity that some individuals feel free to share with the 'net.

Which games do you play? And what do you read?

And do you like the debating with yourself over and over again? I admit that I did! I was horrible like that, but I really loved the idea of slowly and consciously feeling like I was trying to solve the world's problems.

You know, I've found people who like gaming but almost NO ONE who is as passionate about it as I am. I know they're out there (just go to any gaming forum), but I never meet them in person. A lot of them are very Call of Duty/Madden-onlyish too.

I like setting people on fire with the Pyro and then Axetinguishing them.

Man, finding a gaming gal to chill out with would be so awesome. I'm thinking about going to an arcade, regardless of the games available, just to see if I can meet a woman who actually loves videogames. I wouldn't care if she was mostly into simple and quirky stuff. That would be cool, actually. Show me a woman that plays stuff like Pac-Man Vs, classic Bubble Bobble, Meteos (DS), Mario Kart, and we'd spend many nights together!

Perhaps not surprisingly, female gamers also tend to gravitate toward different games versus men. One thing I used to do when I was younger was to try to meet women by playing those games :p You go hunting where the game is plentiful, no? It also helped that I was working for a company that specifically aimed for the 'woman gamer.'
