from the site:

The Matrix

When Agent Smith is interrogating Neo, after Smith has sealed Neo's mouth shut and he is backed into the corner, when the camera cuts back to Smith you can clearly see a reflection in his glasses of Neo still sitting down in the chair.

The Wizard of Oz

In the beginning while Dorothy is still on the farm, she walks along the pig pen fence and then falls in. When Bert Lahr picks her up out of there her dress is perfectly clean.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The criminologist describes the events of the movie as taking place "on a late November evening". In the very next scene, Brad and Janet are driving in Brad's car, and President Richard Nixon's resignation speech is playing on the radio. Nixon resigned in August of 1974.

Kingdom of Heaven

Mispelling: Balian goes to the Office of the Marshall of Jersulam. Marshall is a name. Marshal (one "L") is a position.

The Patriot

When Ann is in the church, about to be burned to death, she's wearing the star necklace. The next day, Gabe and the others find the burnt church and Benjamin picks up the star necklace from the ruins. The necklace would have melted in the fire, or at least would be still waaaaay too hot to touch.

These are pretty fun to read about. Has anyone actually noticed one of these mistakes while watching a movie for the first time though? :)

I notice some on occasion, but the great majority of them get by me.

I freely admit that picking apart movies and finding flaws is a guilty pleasure. On occasion, it's more fun than just watching the film. :)

It depends on the movie. There are several that I had to quit watching because either there were so many mishaps/mistakes or because the story was completely retarded. Case in point:

Behind Enemy Lines II: Axis of Evil. ZOOOOMG I can't even begin to tell you how completely flawed that movie is. I hope they fired their military consultant for that film because that dood deserves it. (SPOILER: Navy Seal unit routinely disobeys orders, employs tactics suitable for a five-yr-old, gets half the squad killed chasing an unimportant kid who discovered their position into a heavily enemy-occupied village, like 3 guys attack a "major" North Korean missile site that has barely one layer of defense...the list goes on...But maybe I'm just picky about my war movies.) :p

My apologies to anyone that actually enjoyed that movie...but I just had to turn it off like 20 minutes in, it was soooooooo bad. Watch it sometime if you're bored, but have some pot nearby. I didn't or I might have watched the rest of it.
