it's only a mile from where I live and I only discovered it early this year !
I've lived in the same house all my life as well. I was looking on google maps in May, looking for photo opportunites and noticed how close the river was to where I live. So the next day I went and had a look. It's peaceful, I like that. You can't hear any traffic. I go at least once a week now. Getting to be my favourite place !
