Okay guys, I need some help here from fellow geeks.
I am running Visual Studio 2012 and Windows 8. I am trying to create a new ASPX website, and link a database to it using SQL Server.
I have the database, but whenever I drop it into the existing database, and try to open it, I get the following error:
"Your system is not configured to open this type of database file. Please reconfigure your permission settings."
I tried just creating it as a new database, but it wouldn't open anything inside of it. This is for homework, so I really, really need to figure this out. I have a walk through in the book, but the problem is that I can't do the five lab assignments because Visual Studio is not recognizing that I'm giving it permission.
Any ideas?
