New here

[copperhead]

Hi everyone....title says it all. I found this board from a link posted elsewhere. I thought to myself to check this out and well now I registered.
I've been down on myself as of lately,really lonely and just looking for cool people who understand also what its like to be solo in life.
I don't have family and its taken me a long time to realize I really don't have friends more just acquaintances I guess. Never in a million years would I have thought this is how my life would be,but I'm learning to accept it.
I like to listen to people and like to try and help out everyone as much as I can,always makes me feel good to help out someone.
I have a few interests like I love outdoors things year round,even when its freezing cold out....lol. I love going for walks in the city and out in the woods. At one point in my life I had 6 dogs and used to take a couple of them to shows,one of my dogs had gotten a couple blue ribbons. Now days I'm down to just one dog and she is my world,I feel like sometimes without her I would have nothing.
I like to watch sunsets and sunrises. I enjoy stargazing. I like bonfires. And I have a dirtbike to ride in the summer and fall seasons. I'm really laid back and the simplest things put a smile on my face.
I don't know hopefully I could make some true friendships here or I can always offer an open mind for someone to talk or vent.

As Rosebolt said, you sound like a very nice person. Reading your initial post, it seems like you have alot to live for and to make yourself happy but unfortunately you are also very lonely. Well, it seems that within yourself, you are strong and "together" with yourself. Even if you don't have any family or friends, you have yourself. I don't mean to sound selfish or anything negative against other people by saying that. I do feel that for us to truly be happy and not lonely/depressed/angry/resentful/regretful and all of those many other things we may feel... first we must be together with ourselves.

I am positive that you will find what you're (truly, deep down) looking for. Here or somewhere else. You just have to start looking and you've done exactly that.
