Hey everyone,
I'm married with 6 kids. Recovered alcoholic with 4.5 years sober. I have social anxiety. My wife is always telling me to make friends and go out and do things. I just don't like to. Social things are hard for me. I'd rather be quiet than try and carry on conversation. I don't like leaving the house more and more. And I don't like having people over. I think I'd be happy living as a recluse. Can't say I'm lonely with my size family. But I would prefer for it to be just my wife and kids and shut everyone else out. I'm happiest at home with a book and cup of tea.
