I'd really prefer not to rely on meds for pain relief. I've always skipped taking them and the only one time I really had to because I was in such bad pain cos of my torn ligament, I developed an allergy to it rofl. What luck, right!

When I have a really bad gout attack the only thing I can take is NSAIDs so if I take about 1600mg of Ibuprofin I can usually at least get to sleep and go to the bathroom. Without the pills, I can't even get out of bed because of the pain.

So Ibuprofin. Even though I'm sure some day my kidneys are going to fail because of it. That's what happened to my grandma with her arthritis. Led to kidney failure from all of the pain pills.

I'll take ibuprofen for headaches and other pains I get, but anything less than 800mg doesn't even dent the pain or discomfort, so I try to take it sparingly. Medicines in general don't seem to have that great an effect on me, at least OTC stuff.

None of those. Oxycodone barely worked for me, and it was a high mg too. So, I'd rather just deal with pain.

Although, I will say that after about 14 Tylenol 3's, I was so out of my mind. Was out for about 2 days, and my mom was completely tickled by it.

I prefer Tylenol as that's what I'm familiar with.

I take codeine, I have it on prescription. It doesn't always take the pain away, but it definitely helps.

Asprin because it dissolves easily in water and I can pour it down my feeding tube then.
