What the hell? Your grooming has gone to **** again! I thought our discussion about pride and taking care of yourself sunk into that cranium of yours. No, instead you want to lay about and watch the birds outside. I know how appealing doing that can be (I enjoy it as well) but letting yourself become a fuzzy mess- come on already.

I thought about doing it myself but I suspect you'd be kind of pissed if I pinned you down with one hand and went clipper crazy with the other. I'm sure the love would be gone and I'd have to make sure to never turn my back to you when I'm hanging with the Kid.

Here's the plan. We're going to take you to a nice lady who's going to prepare you a shooter to relax. We know you won't turn down a delicious shooter. She's going to get you all relaxed and happy then.......

An update....

We decided (we being the Kid and I) that Poguesy would get trimmed and thinned a bit instead of shaved, thus retaining some degree of dignity....

HOWEVER......

Dignity and Poguesy, two words that aren't exactly synonymous. Pogs, you are truly one of life's unique individuals. It seems you have a bit of a problem with your intake of relaxing beverages. Watching you stagger around was kind of amusing, your falling off the back of the chair was comical but the absolute highlight was seeing you lean your head (and body) against the Kids door with that dazed expression waiting for her to get home. I tried to get a picture but you kind of scurried away- guess you didn't want any lasting evidence around.

Thanks for the laugh Pogs. I wonder what's next?
