Open debate, personally i would back the orca, only because they are so smart and learn very fast.
But heres an interesting debate between some biologists etc:
"Well lets see..Orca averages 15 times the squid's average weight. It is way faster and immenselly strong, hard boned, warm blooded creature with jaws powerful enough to kill the squid with one bite. And has mental and sensory power to detect the squid (this encounter would have to take place in relatively low depth), ***** it's weaknesses and figure out the best way of action in no time.
Otoh, the squid is soft bodied and vulnerable, unable to kill prey that it can't immobilise or strangle.
Those tentacles are strong and the squid's body is very flexible, but hooks and beak are no match for Orca and her jaws.
They can cut and tear the skin and cause a lot of pain to an Orca, though.
And Orca would know that, and probably avoid to attack the large colossal squid specimens.
But if Orca is determined to kill for some reason, it would easily out swimm and out maneuver the squid and finish it off with one bite from behind.
Only chance the squid would look like this imo - the squid is extremely large and Orca somehow misses to give the lethal bite, at the same time allowing the tentacles to coil around it's blow hole.
And it's still a long shot from a fatal consequence because squid would have to stay alive long enough to hold the tentacles on that place until the Orca drowns.
Any normal scenario of this fight is an over kill for the Orca.
But it's unlikely to happen just because Orca is smart and avoids to get into situations that can cause her injury or pain"
But who knows, it would be an interesting fight between the two.
