So true. Once bitten twice shy.. Im 32 nearly and only 1 mate i had.when i started going out with a guy,his pal was seeing her. We wer mates from april last yr until august. So 4mths.. She was lovly..proper girly like me.enjoyd girly stuf.Evrything i said she agreed with.she said soul sisters! Same minds ect..she seemed sweet and nice. Her relationship was from one to anuther neva settled.and i was ther for her always.lifts,place to stay.ect. When i dumped my ex. Same week she moved in with him(as lodger). And then she turned on me.sayin i was phyco and weird. Eh!! Id done nowt but be too kind to her. Anyway. I never want a mate again..never! Dont trust girls! Im hurt and stil confused,used and abused.

But I wouldn't let this experience put you off having friends. She sounds immature and shallow.
Just be careful who you trust, and it's clear that you'll have trust issues meeting another girl friend, but if they are mature and competent, they will understand.

Sounds like one big love triangle.. lol they say "everything is fair in love and war". Maybe she takes that saying to heart?
