Not complete blackness,
a little light is alive.
Light through the key-hole,
I wonder what's inside.
As I near, sadness drains.
Physical, invisible waves
of warmth come over me.
I reach in my pocket and
grab the key.
As I reach, the key begins
to glow. Light surrounding
the door overflows. What I
thought were others, only
shadows fleeing.
It's that long-lost feeling
of being free. The key and
my hand de-materialize, turn
to dust, and escape me. Then
my eyes and the rest of my body,
yet I continue to see.
Disassembled I wisk through
the door as a breeze. At one
with the light, I find peace.
I am complete.
