So i wanted to make a thread where everyone who wants to bother responding has to think for a moment about themselves. Which is always good, since self-improvement is a very big and godo thing, in my opinion.

So here's the thing,

List three things about yourself that YOU think are strong points, and list three things about yourself that YOU think are bad points.

I'll start:

Good:
- An incredible determination and perseverance.
- Good self-knowledge.
- High emotional intelligence.

Bad:
- Often not able to control and eliminate hindering emotions, such as jealousy.
- Abnormally insecure about how others think of me.
- Undisciplined and spoiled.

Good:
- Decent imagination which I can use, (occasionally for me a bad point - I can see in my mind the bolt falling out on the cable car/rollercoaster).
- Try and be supportive, recently become more aware of peoples feelings I believe, and my own.
- Loyal and trustworthy - I won't repeat secrets told in confidence.

Bad:
- Can be blinkered and selfish at times, not always intentional though
- Not as confident or as brave as I'd like to be
- Sometimes a bit lazy and may put off jobs I know I should get on with

think of that, I came online with the idea of starting a similar thread, thanks!

Good
Loyal/supportive
Persistent, mostly end what I start
Go-getter

Bad
Self centered
Know-it-all
Very little emotional intelligence and tact
Boring (ouch, this "bad" part can go on for, like, forever, will stop it here)

Good:

1. I always try to take the needs of others into consideration.
2. I'm very loyal.
3. I've got a very strong moral compass.

Bad:

1. I expect too much of others.
2. I have terrible/non-existent social skills.
3. I give up way too easily.

Sympathetic
Distant and not a great listener

Helpful
Often can't help people in a way they need

Outspoken
Confrontational

Okay dude, I'll join ya on this.

Good:
- Nice.
- Patient.
- Determined.

Bad:
- Emotional.
- Insecure.
- Nice.

Good:
- Empathic
- Honest (this can be bad thing too, being too honest...)
- Trustworthy

Bad:
- Very insecure
- Jealous (not so bad than before though, improved a lot! :))
- Shy

Good-

Thinking of others
Artistic
Determined

Bad-

Insecure
Sensitive
Lack of patience at times

Pro:
  • Introspective and independent
  • Empathetic and patient with people (mostly)
  • Rational and not easily offended
Con:
  • Spineless and self-defeating
  • Quick to anger under pressure or when things don't work as expected
  • Pessimistic and prone to soapboxing

7) Cheerful and optimistic in reality around people I trust, capable of making people laugh with ease, again in real life, around people I trust.
4) Rather patient, and generally willing to accept everyones opinions in all things except religion, and at least online, I don't take offense or get lured into e-peen fights easily.
1) Care more about others than myself, especially ones I care about. Could be considered a bad point I guess, but I just have more time for them, especially my girlfriend, than I ever will for myself.

9) Prone to sudden bursts of anger/aggression probably due to mood swings, when something my mind percieves as extremely annoying (I.E babyish accents, kids being fucktards, stubbing of ones own toe when ones feet are cold etc)
42) Incapable of going outside or facing groups of people of more than two, now. Thinks too much into things, easily devastated by any form of bullying/abuse at this point thanks to a horrendous upbringing/young life.
12) Can't count
