I have never been much of a talk active person, a silent introvert type one could say but i really wish i had a woman in my life. I'm not attractive or rich either and my emotions never sees the daylight let alone my sense of humor!
How likely do you think a man like me that doesnt talk much can still find a decent woman?
How can i still have something to offer a woman?

i've heard it said that being the shy quiet type can be interpreted as being "mysterious". however, i too am a guy, and unfortunately i have no idea as to how that interpretation is attained.
sorry i couldn't be any more concrete.

Maybe you need to find a girl that's the silent type?

There already is a girl i really like and she is the only one for me but im not really sure to what kind of man she is attracted too. I just hope im good enough for her because im going to ask her to date me but im so afraid its going to be a total fiasco!

People aren't psychic. If you want something, you need to be assertive enough to ask for it. There are ways of approaching the issue indirectly, though, which can help you find our position as well as avoid embarassment if it isn't everything that you had hoped for.

I think most important, in order to have some lasting success , is to not try and change yourself in order to match what you think will interest others. There'll always be different people, and always some who doesn't match you - more than the ones that will (for everyone - not just shy persons). I think to try and adapt what you talk about/how you do it, and so on, is what gets your self-esteem down in the end, and only makes you confused and really gives a feeling of not being able to attract others. I don't know if that helps, but that's my own thoughts, which I try to live by nowadays (and I'm a shy person).

More related to the actual problem: with the girl - go for it :) But perhaps with something casual, so that you don't feel "stuck" if it doesn't feel alright? A walk after school/work perhaps?

i don`t talk much unles i have something to say.
i can`t talk about nothing just for the sake of a conversation.

spending time with someone works best for me if we`re actually doing something.
making music or playing games or something.
just walking or sitting down for a drink somewhere can be really awkward if no one is talking :p
when your doing something you like to do and might even be good at you look a lot happier and comfortable wich makes you more atractive.
if its something cool youre doing you might even look a little mysterious.

Fiasco or not, taking that leaping and asking her out on a date is an accomplishment in itself. So even if she says no you should be proud of yourself that you did ask her. Hopefully things go well for you though and she says yes. Keep us posted.

somethings are such a maze to sort out. i mentioned being mysterious earlier. and paulo added to that by saying that doing something helps. i entirely agree. just going out and being part of something, playing music, a game, sitting down somewhere and writing... it makes one look more interesting and helps others potentially notice you better. which creates some intrigue, especially when you're then quiet about it.
the problem then is, when is it intrigue, and when is it considered stuck-up rudeness, because i think it can be looked at both ways.

Like wtf dude....

start talking?
start showing your emotions?

The payoffs are worth it....

I'm normally silent. A lot of people will suggest finding a girl who is also silent, but there's really little hope in that. Just avoid looking cold and stuck-up, people will easily misidentify you as that sort of person. In the end you will just need to hang in there and take your chances.
