I do not think you are reading that comic right. I see it as more of a slam on the outdated notion of chivalry. You know where men are supposed to treat females as delicate little flowers... or something. So men have to knowingly brave and suffer to keep females comfortable. That is what I see.

yes... In my case, for example, I hate everyone, and even though I'll study nursing next year and become a paramedic to save lives.. Why? I dont know why.
