So my mother had a typewriter while in college and this was her typewriter. I'm at my grandparent's house right now and they've agreed to give me her old typewriter. My question to you all is, who wants a typewritten letter from me? :D

Wow, is that a manual? I had typewriters both in high school and in college back in the 1980s. Not sure what happened to my most recent one, which was electronic.

As for a typewritten letter, I'd have to give you my address and don't know you well enough, so no thanks.

Wow, Soph - that is super cool! Did you make sure to grab a bottle of White Out, too? :p

I haven't gotten that far yet. :p Still in the error making stages.

The ' doesn't work on the typewriter and the h key sticks. Are there any typewriter repair people that could fix it you think?

Hmm, I am sure there must be a few around? If I remember your state correctly, there appears to be some prospects. If not a dedicated store, perhaps a thrift shop or antiques dealer would know someone.

It's a great looking machine and I would definitely want to get it fixed, for nostalgia, if nothing else.

Good luck and happy typing!
