Hi All~

Several months ago I posted how an older lady "friend" hurt me deeply. She got mad at me (it was a business deal) and said "**** you", etc. It really shocked and devasted me.

After that I remained civil with her and just didn't consider her friend.

Lately we've been chatting again (I see her at a local coffeehouse). I guess time heals a lot of things. And you know what? She's been really nice and supportive of me.

I shared with her issues with my bf and my life and she said "you just need to accept yourself and who you are".

That was a really nice, supportive thing for her to say. It meant a lot to me.

So while I can't consider her a "friend" per se...I see that sometimes it's good to forgive. In this case I got some needed kind words...words I don't get from other "friends" that really meant something.

Yeah it is, even if it goes no where after. Holding on to a grudge is just not worth it. Unless they are a despicable waste of human life. LOL
