Well okay, hi there.

Nice to meet you all.

I'm a 22 year old gal from Chicago.

Jeepers, this is a bit awesomely awkward.

I've lived my whole life being off of the "norm" curve I suppose. Not different from everyone in the world but different from everyone in my world.

I have a dad who's off being someone's else's dad, a mom who gives me the world but doesn't know much about me, a fraternal twin sister who spent 7th through 11th grade referring to herself as the "pretty" twin (ooh ouch yeah that one still stings) and a mind that wanders off the path telling fantasy stories of someone else's world.
I don't have any grade school or high school friends left. I have college acquaintances not friends. Mmm, nothing like a good ol acquaintance to satisfy the soul.

College is the kitty's pj's but I basically go to class, make art and cruise the library. I've never drank alcohol and am not the socializing party type at all.

I don't care for material things. I don't relate at all to my generation really. Just give me a good book and a Batman movie and I'm set.

Well I'm done rambling.

It's tough being a bug.

Hugs,
V.

Hello, and welcome!

I couldn't agree more on the whole party and drinking thing. I can't see the appeal to save my life. Whenever I tell people I don't drink they always look at me like they don't quite understand. It can be fun, perplexing people with habitual sobriety.

Yeah, it never appealed to me at all. I love the looks I get when I say I don't drink. I always get the "So then what do you DO?!?!?!" statement a lot. Haha.
