Every day, ground lost and ground won.
A constant fight leaves me undone.
Forcing chained legs forward on
To see another day, tomorrow's dawn.

There must be hope beyond the hills,
I tell myself while popping pills,
But just to ease the pain until
Tomorrow's light brings joy and my heart fills.

Peace of mind escapes forever
'Those who think it gone will never
Feel their heart as light as feathers.
Belief itself will help your endeavor.

You are a great poet Jesse. You write something new and touching everyday. Nice one :)

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I don't follow poetry "rules", I just write what I feel.

Yw :p Most people who writes doesn't follow rules. But I personally feel this type of poems better than the other one cos this is easily understandable with less double meanings and stuff as like anybody can enjoy it.
