I read this a little while ago and thought it might be useful.
I see a few that I will personally be doing. :D

10 ways singles can beat the holiday blues

1. Make some changes to your usual routine.

2. Plan ways to mix and jingle with other singles.

3. Embrace gratitude for the blessings you already have in your life.

4. Focus on reconnecting with friends and family.

5. Do something good for others to give your self-esteem an extra boost.

6. Give yourself the gift of a much-needed holiday vacation.

7. Exercise to improve your mood.

8. Unclutter your heart and mind by cleaning out your home.

9. List all of the things you love most about yourself.

10. Indulge in a few guilty pleasures.

EDIT: Peaches reminded me that I'd left off the very best way to beat the holiday blues...

:club: Club them! lol, thanks Peaches!

I am going to start some new traditions this year. Not sure what they'll be yet but the last few holidays have been sort of lame for me.
A local art museum does a sing-along screening of The Sound of Music on Dec. 26th, they even have a costume contest. Seriously thinking of doing that! :)
