Virtually all loners I've met in my life were sensitive, thoughtful people.
Now, I realize why people who are actual loners for one reason or another probably truly are alone and aren't busy socializing in forums.
At least not nowadays, I suppose. Because many years ago, I came across many extraordinarily nice people in chat rooms, forums and dating sites. Boy, those days are gone. Seems like the beautiful freaks have been banned from the web.

NINE out of TEN senior members (in my eyes anyone with more than 1000 posts) think it's just fine to inflict physical pain on children and the only one who did not share that view still felt the need to say "I'm no bleeding heart following a social conscience".

You certainly are painting in broad strokes because of one particular moral dilemma. Does it even matter whether the people who make a lot of posts agreed to it or not? Heck, does it even matter if anyone agrees with it? The law doesn't, after all.

Lonekiller doesn't speak for everyone, but I see you've taken it upon yourself to judge a whole forum based on one page mainly consisting of only one member, who feels one way, about one issue.

You can see what you want to see, you will find dirt anywhere you go looking for it. I didn't bother with that thread, but what the heck, your kind are a bunch of politically correct *mod edit*. A little bit of physical pain, such as spanking or a faceslap is nothing to cry about.

Judging a whole forum of people over a spanking thread. Thats one for you to tell your psychologist about, and maybe deal with some of those deep seeded issues of spankings from your own past, or the lack thereof. Given the level of maturity you've displayed here, maybe you deserve one right now.
