Why can't I lose my sense of smell when I choose to. As the local farmer is spreading manure over the field near to my home today. 
No idea why he is doing it now as usually it is done in Autumn.

As far as smells go, manure ranks up there as one of my favourites - especially fresh cow manure. . . I know, I'm weird.Why can't I lose my sense of smell when I choose to. As the local farmer is spreading manure over the field near to my home today.
It's just such a rich, earthy natural smell.
