I dreamt tonight that I was on my deathbed, regretting all the time of my life I wasted on pointless things. It seemed as if my youth was wasted on things that ultimately didn't matter to me; and at that old age, I had free time enough, but not enough energy in my bones to pursue what I valued.

Then I woke up, and thought that I shouldn't waste my time on pointless things, lest I should regret it later. But what choice do I have?

We all have choices, and remember, that was just a dream. The choice is you don't have to listen to your dream, or you can. It depends on what's really pointless to you.

Most youth waste their time on things that ultimately don't matter. As long as you either enjoy what you are doing and/or learn something from what you are doing, it's not really a waste of time. But you are still in your youth, you still have time. If you know what you want to do, make a plan to get there and do things that will get you there, but continue to waste at least a little bit of time. It's part of what being a kid is all about.

Those types of jobs are definitely not for everyone, but the people who do those jobs are extremely important because if things aren't found and removed, they remain online for everyone to see. Most people have no idea how to report those types of things or might not feel it's their duty to report them, but they need to be removed from the internet. In my job, I've seen some seriously messed up stuff and I'm required to report them if I find them. Now it's second nature and I report things even when I'm not working, though I've only ever come across one or two things to report outside of work in the 14 years I've had this job because I simply don't go to the places my job sometimes takes me.

Don't give up. Keep trying to find jobs. While certain jobs might not be right for you, there are plenty out there that are. Keep searching.

Yes, it's very important to control the type of content that is being uploaded online. Children, animals, should be protected at all costs.

And I'd totally understand police or detectives making investigations online, finding pornographic content with children and animals and punishing the criminals that raped and aggressed children and animals.

But a videochat company works with pornographic content and then the manager wonders how come children and animals end up in those videos or how come children end up watching such content online. The problem is that online XXX industry shouldn't exist in the first place. And I know this idea is debatable, but my opinion is that the internet is already dangerous if not used wisely. And by introducing pornography it makes it even more dangerous for the viewers. I'm sure sex addicts can meet each other and satisfy each others needs off and on camera, but they shouldn't be allowed to upload such content online. They should stick to their kind. And meet up in closed circles. For every sex addict there's another sex addict waiting to engage in orgies. They find each other easily. They attract each other like magnets. They should use that in their advantage. And leave other people alone.

I agree that XXX sites should be only accessible through certain software and codes, so that children can't gain access to them. There should definitely be protocols in place. Anyone will use and explot anyone if they're gaining something from it.
