Dune (2021) ...

I drink everytime when they mention word " spice " in movie so .... It was also boring movie so I shut down after 35-40 minutes.

I watched The Internship last night..
I think Owen Wilson should get a nose job, that's the only thing that gets in the way of me liking him, like the Movie Roxanne, I just wanna snap that off. Ha ha ha

I recall him saying he deliberately won't get it fixed.

For something a little different peeps, there's a youtube channel called "DUST", which shows a lot of short sci-fi films

Beautiful to look at, though the whimsy/quirkiness felt forced at times. I really liked it overall.

1941 Ladies in Retirement (link to film at archive.org) Based on the play by Reginald Denham and Edward Percy, this drama focuses on Ellen Creed (Ida Lupino), a housekeeper who looks after Leonora Fiske, a retired actress living in the English countryside. When Ellen's eccentric sisters (Edith Barrett, Elsa Lanchester) visit their sibling at Leonora's home, tensions soon lead to murder.

The Return of Frank James (link to film at archive.org) a 1940 Western film directed by Fritz Lang and starring Henry Fonda and Gene Tierney. It is a sequel to Henry King's 1939 film Jesse James. Written by Sam Hellman, the film loosely follows the life of Frank James following the death of his outlaw brother, Jesse James, at the hands of the Ford brothers. The film is universally considered historically inaccurate, but was a commercial success. It was the first motion picture for the actress Gene Tierney, who plays a reporter for the newspaper The Denver Star.

The Green Lantern. The one with Ryan Reynolds. That was about a week and a half ago though and only because my kid cousin wanted to watch it.

Fun fact I just had to untangle two three pronged fishing hooks out of his hair. It's nice to be around them kid cousins I got sometimes.

The Boogens (link to film at archive.org) 1981 Horror. A long-abandoned Utah silver mine is reopened 100 years after a mysterious massacre. The group of amorous miners face the scaly, blood-sucking monsters known as the boogens. It's as cringe worthy as you'd expect lol. Plenty of screaming.

Cheech And Chong Up In Smoke.I always laugh seeing this scene

“Code name Lard-***! Code name Lard-***!” 🤣

I have such good memories of the Cheech & Chong movies. They were a traditional ‘must-watch’ for my family at Christmastime, starting from about age 10 or so. Yeah, I grew up in a weird family. 😂🤣

Cool Hand Luke (link to film at archive.org) 1967 Luke Jackson (Paul Newman) is a cool, gutsy prisoner in a Southern chain gang, who, while refusing to buckle under to authority, keeps escaping and being recaptured. The prisoners admire Luke because, as Dragline explains it, "You're an original, that's what you are!" Nevertheless, the camp staff actively works to crush Luke until he finally breaks.

Escaping the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story (2019)

Escaping-the-Madhouse-2019-010.jpg

It shouldn't be called "The Nellie Bly Story" since the only part of it that
is even similar to her actual story was that she faked insanity to get into
the asylum. Why they would take a chapter out of the life of this amazing
lady and water it down like this, is a puzzle.

I seems to have temporarily run out of Killer Chickens from Outer
Space movies, but in keeping with my high brow movie standards,
I checked out a Killer Junkie Crabs From Outer Space movie.

Cocaine Crabs From Outer Space

Sound track

Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They've traveled so far just to pinch your face.
Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They want to eat you because they like the way you taste.

And we think of space as deep and dark and vast.
But their crab spaceship found us really fast.
They've been traveling since the day of their birth, till they discovered cocaine right here on Earth.

They liked it so much, they decided to stay.
They killed everything that got in their way.
They don't want slaves or our dogs.
They want our cocaine with a side of frogs.

Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They've traveled so far just to pinch your face.
Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They want to eat you 'cause they like the way you taste.

They didn't come here to smoke our Mary Jane.
We never thought they'd take all of our cocaine.
We've never seen an invasion such as this.
We thought there'd be a sign, thanks for all the fish.

Those cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They've traveled so far just to pinch your face.
Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They want to eat you 'cause they like the way you taste.

So if you see a crab scooting down the street,
and it wants to snort cocaine off your dirty feet.
Just remember, they're a visiting alien race,
those cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.

Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They've traveled so far just to eat your face.
Cocaine-snorting crabs from outer space.
They want to eat you 'cause they like the way you taste.

Yah, I'm a crab.
