Where are your favorite places?

I thought it would be interesting to know where everyone's favorite places are. Places you've been, places you like to be, places you'd maybe like to go to in the future.


As for me, there are a few places I'm particularly fond of:

Lake Bled, Slovenia

Beograd, Serbia, despite its faults, will always hold a special place in my heart - where I met my husband. (taken from the window of my apartment there)

My favorite place would probably be where my in-laws live. It's so isolated, peaceful and beautiful back there. I kinda wish we had moved back there. I don't know if I'll ever go back there again, but I know I'm more welcome there than I am where I'm at now....

It may look like your regular pool but the Lynnewood Gardens pool was where a lot of good childhood memories were made for me. Though it's renovated now, I really loved it when it was just a dinky pool with a wall-ball wall and a snack shop my parents owned. We picked huckleberries in the wooded area there in the back. With a strange man, too, which in retrospect may not have been a good idea

Dinosaur Provincial Park, I really feel like I'm on an alien landscape when I'm here.

Aside from that, my room , the mountains in general and Austin Texas. I'd like to travel to a lot of places so I won't bother listing them.

i like being outside when its snowing, and has been for a good while. everything is white, and its so quiet you can hear the snow falling. its one of the only times i like being outside because its actually quiet. i cant hear people or cars or construction. its calm and peaceful. its so great.

I would also love to visit Vienna and Salzburg. I could live the Bohemian artist's life in Vienna. Oh yeah. Though I doubt that would pay the bills.

Necochea, I love that place. The people are happier there and why wouldn't they be is so much better than this overpopulated city I'm living in, there are beaches, a beautiful sea and woods... I plan to go live there someday.
