Who else here is over 21 and had limited or no work experience?

I've never really had a substantial job and I'm 24.

I feel like the only person in the world in this awkward and embarrassing situation.

I'm 26 and I've only had two internships and some odd jobs for my university. Never a real, proper job.
After I finished my Master's degree I ended up moving here where I can't work, but hopefully that will change in a few months.


A lot of people are in the same boat.

I didn't start working until I graduated from college. I didn't see the point of working while I was in school.

I'm 30 and I've not worked in years. I've only had a few jobs in my life and none of them were that good or for that long.

Unfortunately for various reasons there are probably more people in your situation than you'd think. Despite that it can still make you feel embarrassed as you say.

Personally it's left me feeling quite worthless. I know people think I've had it easy too and that makes it worse.

I've worked since i was a kid before I turned 16 that would be allow to
work in a regular job becuase of child labor law.

I had a paper route. That was ok...but it was rather time consuming.

So I started mowing yards and cleaning pools on the weekends...
Yeap...pays really good. I establish regular customs.
$100 per week...probably 6-7 hours tops.
$400-$500 p month back when was really good for a 12 year old kid.
Minimun wage was $2.75.
I purchased a badass $500 bmx bike...custom top of the line parks.

Got my first real job at 16...excuvating contruction site for cummunication towers.
Pays awsume $8 p hur....minium was still $3.25

Purchased my own truck at 16 and all my guitars and amps.
Of course chicks wanted to go out with me while in HS.
I was also in the jazz band ripping on my guitar...lol
I had a bas ass 4x4 mini truck...which allowed me to roam
more places, party and go cruzing.

Had a full time job and went to college full time...that got totally ridiculous.

i also worked at ****** jobs...at a car wash..
F-it college chicks would go there and flirt with me all the time...
Tell me they cant get thier car outta gear so I gatta stick my head
in their car see thier mini skits ....free beaver shots **** like that.lol
F-it...My air was down to my ass and i still got to play in my band....
Hardly ever went home. (mama was worrying) **** the living **** of
of my gf everynight....work, party and ****.lol
