Hi all,

I came across this board and read a couple of posts, and a couple of thoughts crossed my mind...

If you people consider yourself lonely, how do you define lonely? is it the lack of friends, the inability to make friends, or is it that people around you don't understand you.

1- The lack of friends - move to another area

2- Unable to make friends - I don't think so, since you probably have made friends here already, break free from your fear, leave the computer and get out for a while, go to some place and strike a conversation with the first person you see, join a class or a group, people don't bite so don't waste more time and break free, loneliness is a mental state.

3- The people around you don't understand you? they don't have to, find like minded people in real life and hang around with them.

Someone once said, "what the people think of you is none of your business", I believe loneliness happens when people hate themselves, but if you accept yourself and appreciate God's creation as is, perhaps your luck will change.

good luck and may God shower you with love.

Spam post is spam? Also what if I'm athiest? And many people here have come to accept themselves, and only made it worse. It's not always inability to make friends too, your right it's that and people not being understood, it can also be brought on by many many other things.

thinking it's that easy to move=fail. This is spam.

what spam ? this is pathetic, at least I am trying to help, what have you done? just saying there is no way out?! everyone is entitled to his opinion, if you are an atheist, just don't take my advice, not hurl insults !

Loneliness starts within, possibly is triggered by a trauma or a shock at childhood. In my opinion, a lonely person is locking himself by himself inside a prison, he or she is focused on a few things in life, unable to embrace the variety of life elements that God created. Looking through a pinhole at a flower all the time instead of enjoying the greenery and the full picture. open your lens and zoom out, that's all i'm saying, peace
