I think that dogs and cats could help people with ptsd and depression٫just by having them could really sooth a lot of people.
TrueFor some people, their flashbacks come without a trigger. True, dogs and pets in general could help them calm down during or after an episode but it won't stop them flashing.
Yep,very trueWell, it's a good thing they have service dogs and therapy animals...
Gerry Adams is being prosecuted for Murder by the British government. If that is the case then the British soldiers who were in death squads with loyalists must face Justice as well. Justice is blind, mate. Even if a soldier is as brave as they come and is utterly dutiful to his country, murder is still murder. Just because you are brave and serve your country with distinction, that doesn't give a soldier the right to murder civilians. That also goes for the Arab civilians who were murdered by British and American Servicemen as well.I used to work with ex servicemen/women with PTSD and/or various other mental health issues, actually in truth, I gave free yoga lessons to the homeless and the majority of them were ex forces because that's how we repay our ' heroes ' in the UK.
The space I rented was owned by a crazy cat lady and 3 or 4 cats regularly joined us during the lesson they weren't trained therapy animals, but they provided an amazing source of comfort. Cats are such elegant and interesting animals that you can’t help but be drawn into the moment. I guess it’s rather mindful.
Cats aren’t a substitute for talking therapy or medication, but with long waiting lists for mental health treatment on the NHS, cats can be immensely valuable if you’re struggling with issues like anxiety, depression, chronic loneliness or a personality disorder.
I certainly couldn’t function as well without mine.
I suffer with PTSD and my dog Ruby has always helped me. Before my triggers used to be horrible, but things have gotten better for me now.I think that dogs and cats could help people with ptsd and depression٫just by having them could really sooth a lot of people.

It depends on the dog. I have one dog that gives me ptsd, one that gives me depression, and one that heals my soul. lolI think that dogs and cats could help people with ptsd and depression٫just by having them could really sooth a lot of people.
