Way too warm for mid-May - 28 C, up to 30+C by the weekend. WTF??? Here comes forest fire season with a vengeance. And our neighbouring province is already in one of the worst fire seasons ever.
After almost a month of no precipitation at all, rain is finally moving in. Sadly only about an inch. Got less than an inch in May. It's a little dry here.
The last month and a half has been rain and wind one week, followed by a cold front the next week, rinse and repeat with some clearer, more normal and standard hotter-than-Hell Florida Summer weeks. As the young people say: "honeysuckle cray."
Apparently the air is like poison gas here today.
I'm nowhere near the wildfires, but the air does smell like fire today. I don't know if it's from something local, or if it really is from the wildfires all this way.
It's the first time I've ever seen a rating of "Very Unhealthy" for Air Quality.
I was hoping this bad air quality stuff was finally over, I wanted to go for a walk tonight.
